We are proud to announce that Astrea Academy Woodfields has been named as a Big Issue Changemaker for 2025 in the Food and Nutrition category. This award recognises our commitment to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry, from running daily breakfast clubs to making sure nothing goes to waste.
Our innovative Family Dining scheme for Year 7, where students share meals, serve each other, practise table manners, and share “appreciations”, has strengthened our school community and even been featured on BBC Radio Sheffield. We are honoured to be recognised for putting others first and improving lives.
